The Municipality of Naxos and Small Cyclades became a “pole of attraction” for professionals, well-respected travel journalists, bloggers and the general public during the international tourism expo WTM 2023. The Municipality participated at the expo from 6 to 8 November 2023 at the stand of the Region of South Aegean located in the larger stand of GNTO. The Vice-Mayor for Tourism, Vaggelis Katsaras, was present at the expo and had more than 20 arranged meetings with journalists, who occasionally work with popular media such as Daily Mail, Daily Telegraph, Evening Standard, The Sun, BBC etc, as well as with travel networks and professionals.
