Agii Apostoli is a cruciform, domed Byzantine church of the 10th-11th centuries and of rare architectural style, being the only two-storey church found on Naxos.
The top floor, which was probably a chapel, is accessed via an external staircase starting above the entrance. The interior retains very few frescoes of the 12th-13th centuries, discovered under a whitewash cover.
