Charakopou is an old small settlement situated around the beaches of the same name and Fanos, on the island’s eastern side. There are several new additions to the few old houses, rooms to let and tavernas.
| Directions for access | The settlement is connected by road with the port. There is no public transport but rented room owners will provide transportation. In the summer months a privately-operated bus does excursions from Chora to the various beaches. Charakopou is also accessed by small boats from the port. |
