
This traditional pottery workshop makes items for both functional and ornamental purposes, and offers visitors the opportunity for a close-up look of the craftsman’s creative ways as he shapes the clay, from beginning to end.
The creations of Manolis Lybertas, who is a fourth-generation potter, include the sfouni (the jug they would pour wine out of the big jar with), the tyromethira (holed jar for drying cheese) and many copies of museum exhibits.
