Rakomelo is a common alcoholic drink in the Cycladic islands, made of local raki spirit and honey, but the Schinoussa variety has its own distinct taste and aroma. It is not easily found for purchase –as it is homemade- but you can sample it in most of the island’s restaurants and bars.
